These rules apply to every comment section on AnimeKai: anime and episode discussions as well as community posts. Please read them before you post.
Use Common Sense
- Don't do it if you think you could get in trouble for what you're about to do.
1st infraction: Temporary ban (1–14 days)
2nd infraction: Permanent ban
Don't Spoil
- If comments are not marked as spoiler or have improper usage of spoiler warnings, the following will not save you from being banned:
- Fake or joke spoilers can still be perceived as a spoiler if not obvious enough.
- Not carefully wording theories so they may not be perceived as potential spoilers. Confirming or denying theories is also considered a spoiler.
- Spoiler baiting, hinting at spoilers, or asking for spoilers is not allowed.
- The main "Anime" section is spoiler-free. It is usually used for on-topic discussion, opinion or review about the anime without spoilers.
- The "Episode" section may contain current and prior content information. Contents from a source material or future episodes are considered spoilers.

Don't Advertise
- Linking to other anime streaming/manga sites is considered advertising.
- Suggesting or directing to anime/manga sites is also considered advertising.
- Posting fake or copycat websites is not condoned.
- Exceptions to this rule are legal/licensed streaming/manga/scanlation platforms, however do not link to them.

Flaming & Toxicity
- Exchange of disrespectful or hostile messages between users. Any form of insult is considered flaming.
- No discrimination, stereotyping, anti/hate speech, or rhetoric towards particular groups and individuals of any kind.
- Harassing or making fun of others is not tolerated.

Off-Topic & Low-Effort Comments
- Off-topic and political discussions are not allowed. References to other anime are permitted; however, the primary focus of the comments should be on the anime of that comment section.
- Single-word comments that serve no purpose or appear to be spam-like are not welcome.
- ASCII/text art is not allowed in the comment section.
- Spamming timestamps or posting repetitive comments is not allowed.
- Plagiarizing/copying posts from others (on site or off site) that aren't yours.

NSFW Content
- Posting any sexual/graphic comments or linking to anything with nudity or pornographic content is not allowed. This rule extends to usernames.

Multiple Accounts & Upvote/Downvote Abuse
- Using multiple accounts to break the rules will put all accounts at risk.
- Using multiple accounts to upvote your comments or downvote others will put all accounts at risk.
- Using multiple accounts to increase your comment's relevancy by replying to yourself will put all accounts at risk (comment boosting).
1st infraction: Permanent ban and deletion of all comments
How to Use Spoiler Tags
Option 1 – Highlight your text and click the Spoiler button in the comment toolbar (it looks like a crossed-out eye).
Option 2 – Add || before the text and after, like so: ||spoiler comment||. It stays hidden until the reader clicks Show.
If the whole comment is a spoiler, switch on Spoil? before posting.

To appeal a removed comment or a ban, reach us through the Contact page. Include your username and a link to the comment in question.
